Sleeping in the bassinet: a mini milestone

Today for the first time Lydia is taking a real snooze in her bassinet. It's interesting watching her sleep development, both on its own and compared to her big brothers (sorry, big sister, but your early days with zombie dad and student mom make your situation unique and not valid for this comparison). At the hospital, the nurses somehow have to magic touch with the swaddling blankets so that the babies manage to sleep in their little bassinets there. However, Lydia is the third baby in a row for us that did not care at all for her bassinet at home, at least not when she first tried it out. Once again, though, despite the initial objections, baby is now getting used to the idea. So, she can now nurse and sleep in a regular baby bed. Not too bad for a less-than-a-week old. :)
