As has been shown previously, much of Lydia's first month was spent with Grandmother, made possible by Grandfather letting us keep Grandfather for all of that month. Note Lydia's cute little dress, courtesy of a good friend whose little girl outgrew it long ago.
Amanda and Lydia, sisters together.
Remember the other little girl mentioned earlier, the one who passed on the cute little dress to Lydia? Well, she's in the picture below (back to camera). Lydia got to attend Miss J's birthday party. Amazing how big little ones can get in 4 years, isn't it? This picture is also significant because it actually shows Mom holding Lydia. Mom held Lydia a lot, of course, but Mom usually hid behind the camera at picture time.
Here's a better view of Lydia in her party dress, another item from Miss J.
Another place Lydia spent a lot of time was in the baby swing:
Lydia also got lots of love from her big brothers.
And of course lots of love from Grandmother.
Here's how Lydia spent her downstairs time when she wasn't being held; kept her a little safer when her loving little brothers were around. :)
Here's Lydia at the playground at Amanda's school; exhausting just thinking about school, isn't it?
And here's Lydia home again with Amanda and Grandmother (and not happy to have had to leave the playground, apparently).
All in all, a very busy first month for our little Lyddie Muffin. :)
